As you know, there's 5 types of vitamins in the game under the Misc section, which cost 50k each. 1 million money covers the full usage limit (a maximum of 20). You can spend your vitamins in several ways, depending on what you want your pokemon to be like stat-wise in a fight. But before we jump into builds, there's a few small facts you should know.

[list]The vitamin limit is 20, but only 10 can be spent on a single stat.
Pay attention to your pokemon's attack attributes, as well as what it seems good at from level ups.
Use vitamins if you're confident in the investment.
Remember that you can always catch a new pokemon if you dislike how your current one turned out.

Hp Up: Gives 100 hp per; a max of 1,000 if you use 10.
Protein: Boosts Attack by 10
Calcium: Boosts special attack by 10
Iron: Boosts defense by 10
Zinc: Boosts Sp.Def by 10[*]

So then, we're onto builds. Though I've only tried a few on my team, there's several seemingly good possibilities.

10 Hp Up, 5 Zinc, 5 Iron: A psuedo-wall with great hp.
10 Protein, 10 Calcium: Intended for double-type attackers like Hydreigon
10 Protien, 5 Iron, 5 Hp Up: Psuedo-defender with great assault power. Good for Rock or Steel types who usually have awesome defense.
10 Protein, 10 Iron: More advanced defense/offense balance; less hp but shouldn't take a lot of damage generally.
5 protein, 5 hp up, 5 iron, 5 calcium, 5 zinc: for those who want a little bit of everything.

Also, fun fact about Rare Candies. They're great for your levels, but for the same price as 1 rare candy, you can buy half of your pokemon's maximum vitamins.
